Detailed Description

An IMultiPoint is a 0-dimensional IGeometryCollection.

The elements of a IMultiPoint are restricted to IPoints. The IPoints are not connected or ordered in any semantically important way (see the discussion at IGeometryCollection).

An IMultiPoint is simple if no two IPoints in the MultiPoint are equal (have identical coordinate values in X and Y). Every IMultiPoint is spatially equal under the definition in Clause 6.1.15.3 to a simple IMultipoint. The boundary of an IMultiPoint is the empty set.
