Detailed Description

Review D2 / gaining conduits (2026-10-15): quality for water that has ALREADY reached a node hydraulically outside the lateral-inflow assembly — mesh water entering through a surface outfall, aquifer water a conduit gained (delivered to its end nodes as inflow). The next quality step adds the volume to the node's mixing volume and the mass to its loads (QualitySolver::addQualityOnlyInflows), then clears it. 1D units: ft³, concentration × ft³, age·ft³ (hours), °C·ft³.

Member Function Documentation

◆ clear()

void openswmm::SimulationContext::QualityOnlyInflow::clear ( )
inline

Zero accumulated inflow and clear the pending-data flag.

Preserves all vector sizes/capacities; no hydraulic or mass-balance ledger is modified.

◆ ensure()

void openswmm::SimulationContext::QualityOnlyInflow::ensure ( int nn,
int np,
int ns )
inline

Ensure node and flattened species accumulator dimensions.

Only arrays with a changed shape are zero-initialized; matching shapes retain accumulated values and any is unchanged. Node volume is ft3, mass concentration*ft3, age hours*ft3 and heat degC*ft3. Caller ensures products fit size_t and age_vol/temp_vol remain aligned whenever vol already has the requested length. Allocation failures can leave a partially resized object.

Parameters
[in]nnNode count; negative counts are treated as zero.
[in]npPollutants per node; negative counts are treated as zero.
[in]nsMSX species per node; negative counts are treated as zero.
