Note

Raw public fields are unvalidated; sizes are logical pixels and numeric ranges use the selected field's units.

Permissive channel object; missing fields use defaults, sizes clamp to minimum0..80 and maximum0.1..80 pixels without ordering them.

Returns

Owned channel. Present colors uses ClassificationScheme decoding; legacy classes/ramp/range fields migrate when colors is absent. Field/transform names and numeric range order are not validated.
